Rush-Henrietta Rotary Club

About Us

Our club was chartered in April, 1954.

Regular meetings of the club are held every Tuesday at the Radisson Inn in Henrietta. It is a breakfast meeting that starts at 7:15 am. Programs are presented by individuals or groups who represent the four avenues of service.

Our members receive our newsletter The Hub each week and the national publication The Rotarian each month. Dues are $70 per 6 months, due in December and June.

Our club is a member of Rotary International. A membership card facilitates visits to other Rotary clubs all over the world.

Our Projects

Camp Haccamo

A summer camp for disabled children sponsored by the 17 Rotary Clubs in Monroe County. Rush-Henrietta built a cabin at the original camp. In addition, each of the clubs is responsible for raising the funds necessary to keep the camp going.

Project Christmas

Food baskets for seniors and others in need. Toys for children.

Adopt-A-Highway

We look after Calkins Road from East Henrietta to West Henrietta.

Adopt-A-School

A reading program at Fyle school.

Dictionary Project

Each year we give dictionaries to third graders at Henrietta schools.

Community Events

Each year we participate in the Henrietta 4th of July Celebration, the Memorial Day Parade, the Monroe County Fair, and the Rush Town Days.

Fundraisers

We raise funds through several means including a Pasta Dinner in March, Relay for Life in June, and a Golf Tournament in August.

There is more. Check out our Interact and Rotaract clubs, our annual Rotary Youth Leadership Award, our scholarships, and our foreign student exchange.
