Rush-Henrietta Rotaract Club

The Rush-Henrietta Rotary Club has helped in founding a Rotaract Club at the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Rotaract is the young adult division of Rotary and gives students and others the opportunity to become involved in both service to their school community as well as the community where their school is located.

The RIT Rotaract club has its own officers and fund raisers, and it decides what projects to undertake. A staff member from RIT serves as an advisor to the club and a liaison to the Rotary Club. Rotarians are frequent visitors at Rotaract meetings.

Not only do Rotaract members have an opportunity to make a difference in their community but the camaraderie, the leadership skills learned and the satisfaction gained from making their world a little better place, will aid them throughout their lives.
